I dont know the type but he looks like and chiwawa. he stays in a big rectangle box on my back porch and he is like alwayz kinda shivering and idk how old because mom got him from stranger(good animal lover tho) he is still shy and scared. i feed him dog food. i named him Diego. so can you tell me some tips on how to keep him safe and healthy. its not cold but not hot outside and parents dont allow indoor pets
well the previous owner was giving them away and loved every last one. he is a shy lil thing just got him yesterday

My dad isn't like other dads (or at least, he's not what I think a dad should be). He doesn't have a pet name for me, he never gave me any advice, nor does he support me in any way other than financially. We've never had an emotional conversation.
My dad’s the man in my life that gives me money.
You figure, my dad gives me money for food and shelter, he must care. I should stop complaining like a big baby.
But I can't help feeling bad inside...
I can’t help feeling my dad doesn’t care.
He doesn’t really know who I am as a person. I get the feeling that the reason he provides for me is because being a father was the only thing he really could do with his life. He gives me money and I think he really thinks that what a father does, provides.
You see, my dad calls me retarded all the time. Constantly. It drives me insane. He makes me feel so bad inside. He's called me lots of other names, and it makes me feel so bad about myself. My dad also has a VERY bad temper. Sometimes I get so worked up I have troubling with my breathing. And I believe him. I don't want to. Also, my dad hits me, but I’m not sure if what he does qualifies as abuse. He punched me on the shoulder one time, I don’t think he really meant it, I don’t know though.
Please help. I know this doesn’t sound like the end of the world. Lately I’ve really been thinking about whether or not I’d be better off dead, though. My grandma passed away and now there’s no one to counter-react all the negative in my life. I haven’t heard an “I Love You” all year.
Boo-hoo, I know.
I just can’t get over this.
I feel so bad inside. Please help.

how do i get my TB gelding to submit to me?

he always throws HUGE fits, and he bucks, and he's even tried lunging at me, and tries kicking me.. but I get on his case, and say NO and i drive him away from me with a whip or rope, but that just makes him more angry! he stays far away from me, but his ears are still flat, and i think in time he'll be brave enough to actually try and get me!!

i don't know how to change this, when we're doing anything else, trail riding, or grooming or feeding he is such a doll.. it's only when i lunge him, or ask him to submit to me, or when i ask him to do something he doesn't want to do.. he hates trotting! he always bucks when i ask him, but yet he always trots and canters around when i bring out food, or when he's playing with his pasture buddies. he's healthy and sound now, he's got a nice personality when he feels like listening, but when he doesn't want to listen he becomes very dangerous!

do you have any tips for this?

i've had other people handle him, more experience riders and friends, and he'll still crow hop but not as bad as it is with me, he buck bucks like a rodeo horse! i stay on but it's just annoying!! and then he'll eventually stop bucking but i just don't want him to buck at all!

he was NEVER raced in a real race (just training) and was sold from the tracks because he was actually too slow and not competetive enough. he's the laziest horse i have, and he follows me around in the pasture, and loves nuzzling me, but he has such a BAD side too!!

thats why he's so weird! he acts like a little kid, spoiled, loves getting cookies and treats and attention, but you ask him to work he throws a HUGE fit, and it's dangerous

i don't want to get a trainer, but if i HAVE to i will, anyone have any tips or training ideas??

he's also the pasture bully, a horse can just be standing there and he lunges at them and bites them HARD, and if i'm petting another horse he'll come running and chase them off and come up to me and nuzzle me, seriously this horse has issues! lol

oh and he's 8
i just got him 5 months ago, and no matter how much i work with him he's still bad, sometimes he's good, but most of the time just bad, and i still love him haha i could never sell him.

please give me your honest oppinion, and i know most you are going to say get a trainer, but i want to be able to work through this.. i don't want to have to rely on a trainer, i want to be his trainer! i've trained and broke other horses, in fact i'm training a filly right now, it's just he's the weirdest horse i've ever messed with.. maybe it's because he's tb? i usually mess with QH's

whips and twirling ropes don't scare him away they just annoy him, and im afraid in time when he gets too annoyed he'll just go crazy and attack me or someone.. now he's not as bad as the stud in the story people can still catch him and ride him even, but when he's had enough.. he lets you KNOW

it's not getting worse it's just not getting better! and i really don't want to have to HIT him..
i do like clinton anderson! i've tried some of his stuff!!

and i am confident around him and i'm not scared by him, like i don't run away or step back i step in towards him but he just doesn't beleive i mean what i say!! the race horse owners used to throw mud and dirt at him and sometimes rocks!! to make him listen, i'm not that forcefull and i think he expects me to be like them i dunno.. how can i be more aggressive with him?? he just is always testing my dominance, and i win, but he hates it!!!
good point about the qh pedigree thing, but ive never had such an aggressive horse before.. and i keep saying this but i'm not intimidated by him! i donnt feel nervous or anything around him, i feel angry if anything!! angry and frustrated!!

i don't really know why i'm so attatched, i just can't bring myself to sell him besides who would want him?? and i KNOW if he wasnt' so bad he would be such a great horse, i wanted to use him for dressage he's got GREAT build and movement.. just bad manners and attitude! i have thought about selling him, but i can't bring myself to do it, he's very expensive to own, but i'd rather own him as pasture horse forever then sell him.

I have been gathering my eggs for several months now, one day I go to gather eggs and there's a hen sitting on them and she tried to peck me to death when I tried to get to her eggs. I decided about a week later just to let her set. So I marked the eggs on the date 3/16 and the 17th one was missing, but several fresh eggs were there. The 18th 2 more were missing and yet again several fresh eggs. Then today I go out and all were missing but one egg. So I marked all the fresh ones from today with today's date. I realized that all the hens want to lay in that paticular nest and they make her move so they can. I have one hen that likes to eat the eggs. So I moved her into an xtra large pet carrier (for a large dog) I made a nest and put food and water in. She went right to her eggs and sit on them. Is that ok or will she abandon them? I know they are fertile because my grandmother (who is 79 yrs old) raised chickens her entire life, and I asked her what the weird white stuff inside an egg was and she said that they had been fertilized. Is that also true? But I had to move her because the other hens were pulling her feathers out of her neck and most of her comb is missing now... its so sad... and she gets so distraught when they make her move so they can lay or eat her eggs. Please help if you can!

i caught him from a canal and put him in my fish tank, but he will not eat regular flake food. he is very tiny, about an inch

My 8-year old daughter just got the game and is wondering. She knows how to buy the food; however she can't figure out how to give it to the animals. The instructions don't address this.
